Every Queensland home needs interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms
Rentals and homes being sold already have to comply. From 1 January 2027 the rule covers every other home too, including owner-occupied. Alarms in every bedroom, in hallways connecting them, and on every level, all interconnected. We’ll install them, test them together and leave you a compliance report.

Every job finishes with testing and a written record. Safety inspectors, insurers and property managers all ask for these documents, and you’ll have them.
Test & certify
Installation work is tested before re-energising, and you receive a Certificate of Testing and Safety.
Emergency lighting
Every fitting gets a full discharge test each 6 months, with results for each fitting and the logbook updated on site.
Test & tag
Retest intervals set by your environment, from 3 months on construction sites to 5 years in offices.
Smoke alarms
Photoelectric, interconnected alarms in the right places, recorded alarm by alarm.
